Day 1: Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park.

– 8:00 AM: Pick up from Entebbe, drive to Kibale 4hrs 50mins. Stop via the
Uganda Equator along the Kampala-Masaka highway.
– 1:00 PM: Lunch at Kibale.
– 2:30 PM: Afternoon birding (Great Blue Turaco, hornbills, forest bird species).
– Overnight in the Kibale Forest Lodge or any other booked safari lodge.

Day 2: Transfer to the Kibale Forest National Park.

– 9:00 AM: Primate walk and chimp trekking- most famously chimpanzees,
making it ideal for tracking, but also home to Red-tailed Monkeys,
Black-and-White Colobus, L’Hoest’s Monkeys, Olive Baboons, Blue Monkeys,
Uganda Mangabeys, and nocturnal Bushbabies
– 1:00 PM: Lunch.
– 2:30 PM: More birding
– Sleep over at the Chimpundu Safari Lodge

Day 3: Transfer from Kibale to Bwindi National Park.

– 8:00 AM: Drive to Bwindi 2hrs 50mins
– 10:30 AM: Birding in bwindi- African Emerald Cuckoos, Crowned Hornbills,
Cinnamon-chested Bee-eaters and Montane Orioles,
– 1:00 PM: Lunch.
– 2:30 PM: Gorilla trekking in the Bwindi National Park.
-4:00 PM: Batwa community visit.
– Sleep over at the Buhoma Safari Lodge or any other booked safari Lodge.

Day 4:

-9:00 AM Transfer from Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi 4hrs drive
– 1:00 PM: Lunch at lake Bunyonyi safari lodge.
– 2:30 PM: Birding and boat cruise on lake Bunyonyi- over 200 bird
species(Grey-crowned Cranes, Pied & Malachite Kingfishers, Hadada Ibis,
Herons, and colorful Sun birds)
-5:00 PM: Back to Overland Resort.

Day 5: Lake Bunyonyi Activities

– 10:00 AM: Zip lining at Lake Bunyonyi
-1:00 PM: Lunch time
-2:00 PM: Hiking the hills and visiting the indigenous Batwa Pygmy community.
– 4:00 PM: Enjoy beautiful scenes of the sunset and boat cruises.
5:00 PM- Depart from Lake Bunyonyi back to Entebbe, 4hrs drive.
-Tour around Entebbe town and grab yourself some souvenirs from Ngabi Stitches.
-Dinner at Victoria Mall as you wait for your flight.
